Why do we need Window Films?
In buildings the availability of a view and natural
light are important to us therefore making windows an essential
feature. The daylight not only provides much needed light but also
enhances colours.
Consequently in recent years glass has become more important in
building design but with this extensive use of glass other problems
can be created:
Glass - not only admits light
but solar heat which can cause an uncomfortable working environment
necessitating the use of mechanical cooling which is not only costly
in environmental terms but financially as well.
Glass – can cause severe solar glare causing
difficulties especially for screen users
Glass - due to its very nature glass can easily
be broken leading to a potential lethal threat to not only occupants
of the building but the general public.
Glass - when it comes to Security, glass is
the weak point in many buildings.
Glass – normal glass does not provide
the benefit of privacy whilst still allowing a view out
